Information Technology Field Engineer

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced IT Field Engineer to deliver on-site support across multiple locations. You'll handle hardware and software issues, ensuring service levels are met and customers receive a high-quality experience. This role involves diagnostics, repairs, installations, and occasional project work, with participation in an on-call rota. Security clearance (or willingness to obtain) is required.

This role covers mainly Edinburgh and Livingston areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair PCs, laptops, printers, servers, and peripherals
• Complete rebuilds, configurations, and IMAC projects
• Provide proactive support and assist colleagues when needed
• Maintain accurate real-time updates via mobile tools
• Work independently while meeting SLA targets

What We're Looking For:

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
• CompTIA A+, Server+ or equivalent experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work at height and handle manual tasks

Salary:

The role has a base salary of £27k, and an OOH allowance that will take you to £35,000.
