About the Role

We are seeking experienced DevOps Engineers with a strong background in the Defence sector to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of remote working, with occasional travel to secure client sites across the UK.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud solutions to support mission-critical defence projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for secure environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Maintain compliance with defence security standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex, high-security environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
• Proven experience in DevOps within the Defence sector.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with secure development practices and defence compliance frameworks.

Desirable

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
