Senior Data Architect

Our client, a major global organisation, urgently require an experienced Data Architect to join their UK team on a permanent basis.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• Consulting experience, with a background in working on customer facing projects
• Deep Data Architecture experience either within an industry Data or Enterprise role, or within Consulting
• Experience in data solution architecture, including establishing design principles, defining solution patterns, and following architecture methodologies.
• Expertise in Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh architecture
• SC or DV Cleared (DV Cleared candidates will be prioritised)

Within this role, you will be responsible for

• Working in a client facing role, with a Government customer
• Lead the design of enterprise‐grade data architectures across Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh paradigms
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure data solutions
• Define and implement architecture principles, reusable solution patterns, and best‐practice methodologies
• Work closely with customers to deliver consulting engagements, run workshops, and influence technical direction
• Provide thought leadership across data strategy, governance, integration, and platform modernisation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure architectural designs are delivered effectively and securely
• Support pre‐sales, proposals, and client conversations as a subject matter expert
