Senior Data Center Program Manager – EMEA West & MEA

Senior Data Center Program Manager – EMEA West & MEA

Location: Hybrid - UK

Function: Data Center Operations | Infrastructure | Program Management

We are seeking a Senior Data Center Program Manager to act as a trusted advisor and operational leader within a large‐scale, mission‐critical Data Center Operations environment across EMEA West and MEA.

This role partners closely with regional executive leadership to scale operational effectiveness, strengthen execution discipline, and enable consistent, high‐quality decision making across a complex, multi‐country footprint. You will translate strategic intent into structured programs, measurable outcomes, and effective operating rhythms—supporting a culture of Leadership at Every Level within Data Center Operations.

The role sits at the intersection of data center strategy, operations, governance, and executive communication, ensuring alignment between leadership priorities and on‐the‐ground execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Center Program Leadership & Strategic Execution

  • Translate regional Data Center Operations priorities into clear objectives, execution plans, and governance forums for senior leadership.
  • Lead and coordinate complex, cross‐functional programs spanning multiple data center sites and countries.
  • Ensure consistency and comparability of inputs across regions, aligning stakeholders to agreed operational and reporting frameworks.
  • Step in as program lead where additional structure, clarity, or momentum is required to unblock delivery.

Operational Excellence

  • Own the Rhythm of the Business (ROB) for Data Center Operations, including leadership reviews, risk forums, governance meetings, offsites, and townhalls.
  • Design agendas, materials, and pre‐reads that drive decisions and outcomes rather than retrospective reporting.
  • Establish and maintain governance for risks, dependencies, actions, and follow‐ups, ensuring accountability and closure.
  • Oversee and track organisational and operational health metrics across the region.

Executive Advisory & Communication

  • Act as a trusted sounding board to regional Data Center leadership, providing structured, data‐driven insights and recommendations.
  • Develop high‐impact executive communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure messaging clearly links day‐to‐day Data Center Operations to broader infrastructure and business strategy.
  • Represent senior leadership in cross‐functional forums and act as a liaison between data center teams, corporate functions, and regional stakeholders.

Culture, People & Engagement

  • Drive diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives across Data Center Operations.
  • Partner with HR on workforce planning, succession, and talent development for critical operational roles.
  • Track and synthesise employee feedback and engagement signals across sites, ensuring clear linkage between feedback, actions, and outcomes.
  • Promote a strong safety‐first, high‐performance culture and proactively monitor organisational health.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong business and operational acumen within data center, infrastructure, or mission‐critical environments.
  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, synthesising complex information for senior leaders.
  • Ability to lead through influence in highly matrixed, cross‐functional organisations.
  • Strong analytical capability, including data interpretation, scenario planning, and decision support.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in fast‐paced, high‐availability, and ambiguous environments.

Typical Background

  • Experience in Data Center Operations, Infrastructure Program Management, Business Management, or Consulting within large, complex organisations.
  • Familiarity with technology‐driven, multi‐site, and multi‐country operating models.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, high‐impact programs and supporting executive‐level priorities.
