Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented and versatile PHP & Python Developer to join our growing team in London. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple technologies, building scalable applications, and contributing to innovative projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and Python .
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all development work.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in PHP (Laravel, Symfony or similar frameworks) .
• Solid proficiency in Python (Django, Flask or FastAPI) .
• Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases .
• Understanding of object-oriented programming , design patterns, and software architecture principles.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs , JSON, and web services.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) .
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes for containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines .
• Front-end skills (JavaScript, React, or Vue.js) are a plus.
• Understanding of security best practices in web development.
