As an Applied AI Solutions Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of engineering, consulting, and innovation, designing, building, and deploying production-ready AI solutions that solve complex business challenges. Working in small, high-performing teams, you’ll collaborate directly with clients to develop impactful applications, including intelligent agents built on large language models.

This role is hands-on and client-facing, ideal for engineers who enjoy both technical depth and business engagement. As you grow, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end solutions, influence AI strategy, and step into technical leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions, including LLM-powered applications and agent-based systems, using Python, SQL and modern data technologies
  • Architect scalable systems such as microservices and data pipelines, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability in enterprise environments
  • Own end-to-end solution delivery, from initial design through to deployment, testing, and continuous optimisation
  • Apply strong analytical problem-solving to translate complex business challenges into practical, high-impact AI solutions
  • Work directly with clients to gather requirements, shape AI strategies, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts in a business-friendly way
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, linking AI solutions to measurable business outcomes such as efficiency, cost reduction, or revenue growth
  • Lead and mentor engineers within delivery teams, contributing to technical direction, best practices, and team capability development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver integrated, user-focused AI solutions
  • Ensure high standards of quality assurance, testing, and system performance across all deployed AI solutions
  • Stay at the forefront of AI and machine learning advancements, rapidly adopting new tools, frameworks, and approaches
