Business Analyst
Role Title: Business Analyst (Infrastructure / Network)
 Location: Birmingham or Sheffield (Hybrid - 3 Days per Week Onsite)
 Duration: 3 Months
 Rate: £310.00 via Umbrella
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Network Business Analyst to support a strategic Data Warehouse Assessment initiative. The role involves analyzing current infrastructure and network capabilities, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements to support scalable and secure data warehousing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and data architecture teams to assess current-state capabilities.
 * Document and analyse existing network topology, data flows, and integration points related to the data warehouse.
 * Identify performance bottlenecks, security risks, and scalability limitations in the current infrastructure.
 * Gather and validate business and technical requirements for future-state data warehouse infrastructure.
 * Support the development of infrastructure and network architecture recommendations aligned with business goals.
 * Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture requirements and pain points.
 * Assist in risk assessments and impact analysis for proposed infrastructure changes.
 * Work closely with project managers to align infrastructure deliverables with overall project timelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in infrastructure and/or network domains.
 * Strong understanding of enterprise networking, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and data center operations.
 * Familiarity with data warehouse technologies and architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata, Azure Synapse).
 * Experience in documenting technical requirements, process flows, and system interactions.
 * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
 * Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
 * Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration tools.
 * Exposure to Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.?
