Cloud Consultant – Finance & Private Equity

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Consultant with a strong background in financial services and private equity to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, migration strategies, and digital transformation projects within regulated environments. You will work closely with clients to design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Strategy & Advisory: Develop cloud adoption roadmaps tailored to financial and private equity clients.
- Architecture & Design: Design secure, compliant cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) for mission-critical workloads.
- Migration & Implementation: Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Risk & Compliance: Advise on cloud governance, security frameworks, and compliance with FCA and GDPR regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including CTOs and investment managers, to align technology with business goals.
- Performance Optimization: Recommend cost optimization and performance improvements for cloud environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Cloud Expertise: Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (certifications preferred).
- Financial Services Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking, asset management, and private equity operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with FCA, GDPR, and other financial regulations.
- Technical Skills: Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Consulting Experience: Ability to manage client relationships and deliver complex projects.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with data analytics and cloud-native financial applications.
- Background in private equity technology strategy or digital transformation.
