Your Role
As a Principal Data Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-based data solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will architect new platforms and optimise or migrate existing ones.
You’ll engage directly with clients to understand their objectives, define requirements, and deliver high-quality, future-ready data architectures in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern, cloud-based data solutions
- Define data architecture, governance, and security best practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams
- Apply a range of data modelling techniques, optimising for performance
- Shape client data strategies, including governance, quality, and scalability
- Deliver end-to-end, production-ready data platforms
- Work with leading cloud and data technologies
Experience & Skills
- Strong track record in data architecture and cloud data platforms
- Deep expertise in data modelling and scalable design
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
- End-to-end delivery ownership and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Java
