Documentum ECM DeveloperTelford - onsiteSalary: 30k - 70kSC Cleared or Eligible for SC Clearance.Role SummaryThe Documentum ECM Developer is a hands-on engineering role responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting OpenText Documentum solutions in an AWS cloud environment. The role focuses on building scalable ECM features, contributing to cloud-based deployments, and applying DevOps best practices to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment & EngineeringDesign, develop, and maintain OpenText Documentum applications and integrationsBuild and enhance custom components using Java and Documentum frameworks (DFC, DFS, D2, xCP)Develop and consume REST APIs for ECM integrations and microservices-based solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidentsContribute to solution design with a focus on maintainability and performanceAWS & Cloud ImplementationDevelop and deploy ECM applications on AWS-based environmentsWork with AWS services such as compute, storage, IAM, and networkingSupport cloud migration and modernization initiatives by updating and refactoring existing solutionsFollow established AWS architecture patterns and best practicesDevOps & AutomationContribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processesWrite and maintain deployment scripts using tools such as Terraform and Ansible (guided by architecture standards)Participate in version control and branching strategies using GitSupport environment configuration and promote automation across development workflowsTesting, Quality & SupportWrite unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliabilityParticipate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code qualitySupport testing activities and deployments across environmentsAssist in monitoring and incident resolution using tools like DynatraceSecurity & Best PracticesImplement secure coding practices aligned with enterprise and AWS standardsWork with authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanismsEnsure proper handling of sensitive data, encryption, and secrets management within applicationsRequired SkillsAWS & CloudHands-on experience developing applications on AWSUnderstanding of core AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.)Familiarity with cloud-native development concepts and deployment modelsExposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)ECM & OpenText TechnologiesExperience with OpenText DocumentumFamiliarity with:Content ServerDFC / DFSD2 and/or xCPExperience developing ECM solutions or customizationsProgramming & IntegrationStrong Java development skillsExperience working with REST APIs and system integrationsUnderstanding of microservices architecture (preferred)DevOps, Databases & ObservabilityExperience with Git and CI/CD toolsKnowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)Familiarity with container technologies such as DockerExposure to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or similarNice to HaveExperience working in Agile delivery teamsExposure to performance tuning and optimizationUnderstanding of enterprise application integration patternsIf you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
