- Ensure delivery is compliant with internal controls, audit requirements, and operational risk standards.
Delivery Execution (Infrastructure Focus):
- Coordinate delivery across infrastructure teams (e.g., networks, end-user compute, platform services, service management, deployment teams) and third parties.
- Drive environments through lifecycle milestones (design, build, test, rollout, hypercare).
- Ensure service readiness: cutover planning, operational acceptance, documentation, and support model alignment.
Financial & Vendor Management:
- Manage programme budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
- Support procurement processes and vendor performance management where applicable.
- Ensure contracts, deliverables, and service outcomes are clearly defined and tracked.
Required Skills & Experience:
Must-Have:
- Demonstrable experience delivering infrastructure programmes of significant scale and complexity (budget ownership and multi-workstream delivery).
- Strong track record of managing senior and demanding business stakeholders-confident in navigating challenge and driving decisions.
- Experience delivering technology change across multiple countries/regions with diverse stakeholders and rollout constraints.
- Strong governance discipline: programme reporting, RAID, dependency management, and steering forums.
- Ability to operate in regulated, control-focused environments with a strong understanding of risk and operational readiness.
Desirable:
- Experience with global end-user/desk infrastructure, trading floor or comparable high-availability environments (helpful but not essential).
- Knowledge of change/release management and service transition concepts (e.g., ITIL-aligned delivery).
- Familiarity with delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile delivery, PRINCE2/MSP, PMI) and strong practical application of these.
Key Competencies:
- Delivery leadership: clear direction, accountability, and momentum across complex environments.
- Communication: concise, confident updates tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Resilience under pressure: calm, structured, and decisive with competing priorities and stakeholder demands.
- Commercial acumen: effective budget oversight, vendor engagement, and value-focused decisions.
