This is a highly visible role offering both technical depth and leadership responsibility.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the analysis, design, and development of Oracle database solutions in collaboration with architects and business stakeholdersDesign and maintain Technical Design Documents (TDDs), ensuring clarity and alignment with requirementsDevelop, review, and optimise complex Oracle PL/SQL code, including procedures, packages, functions, and viewsTake ownership of Oracle 19c database development, applying best practices in performance, scalability, and optimisationLead code reviews and enforce development standards and best practicesAct as the technical lead and primary point of contact for the development team and stakeholdersCollaborate with project managers, business analysts, and architects to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements and timelinesManage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from design through to testing and deploymentProvide technical input into project planning and architectural decisionsMentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, supporting their technical developmentDemonstrate strong experience in Oracle development with deep expertise in PL/SQLWork with Oracle Database 19c in complex enterprise environmentsApply strong knowledge of database design, data modelling, and optimisation techniquesCarry out performance tuning using tools such as Explain Plans and AWR reportsUse version control tools such as Git, SVN, or PVCSWork with delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira and ConfluenceBring experience with Oracle Forms & Reports (D2k) and Oracle Hub (desirable)Apply domain knowledge within banking or financial services (advantageous)Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersIf you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
