Introduction
As a Pega Automation Tester you will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment helping to deliver new products and solutions which underpin our Client's digital strategies. Candidates will be involved in the testing of new products and existing products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Pega Automation Tester working in an agile environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
* You will be designing and planning test strategies for projects and applications
* You will be undertaking planning activities for agile deliveries
* You will progress automation backlog items
* You will create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Selenium
* You will support and maintain the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features and bug fixes
* You will be analysing requirements and user stories to derive automated test cases, adding to the test suite using Selenium or Postman
* You will be executing tests thoroughly to ensure software quality, running automated tests and identifying defects
* You will be actively contributing to process improvement initiatives and enhancements to current procedures including recommending quality improvements
* You will be working with project teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner whilst keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and challenges
* You will be supporting and maintaining the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features, or bug fixes
The following skills are required
* Previous experience working as a Pega Automation Tester
* Experience within an agile development environment
* Experience of test automation using Selenium Web Driver
* Knowledge of software testing procedures and be skilled in test planning, test estimation, prioritisation and risk-based testing
* Practical experience of agile testing methodologies - BDD, TDD etc.
* Making decisions, often with limited information and communicating these to others within the team
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
