Project Manager - Must Have an Active SC Clearance

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of medium-complexity projects within a structured programme environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and stakeholders at all levels, delivering solutions that matter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful delivery of IT infrastructure and transformation projects through their full lifecycle

  • Define project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and business units

  • Work collaboratively with customers to achieve acceptance, closedown, and seamless handover to service

  • Track project costs, ensure milestones are achieved, and invoices are raised accurately and on time

  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular status updates to the Senior Project Manager or Programme Board

  • Apply best practice project management principles including risk management, scope control, and financial governance

  • Operate within established methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, PRINCE2, and SAFe

  • Coordinate internal teams, ensuring effective planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication

  • Conduct formal reviews and ensure lessons learned are captured and shared

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Strong track record of delivering infrastructure, application development, and test/release projects

  • Experience in both Transition and Transformation programme delivery

  • Extensive MOD/Defence project experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide

  • Proficiency with project reporting, risk assessment, financial tracking, and governance

  • Familiarity with working in secure or highly regulated environments

  • Solid understanding of project methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, and SAFe

  • Ability to manage project impact on P&L and ensure contingency planning is signed off appropriately
