Salesforce Business Analyst (CPQ or Revenue Cloud )
Key Responsibilities
- CPQ Implementation Ownership: Lead Salesforce CPQ implementation across all development phases.
- Strategic Expertise: Act as the CPQ SME, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Pricing & Packaging Committee, Product Operations, and System Analysts to gather, translate, and document requirements for scalable solutions.
- System Optimization: Maintain and enhance Salesforce CPQ to meet evolving business needs.
- Product Support: Work with cross-functional teams to launch new products/bundles and update existing ones within CPQ.
- Rules & Data Management: Configure and manage Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules, Product Master, Approval Processes, and custom scripts (Quote Calculator Plugin).
- Change & Release Management: Coordinate with Product Operations and Sales Enablement for smooth production releases.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain solution design and technical documentation.
- Technology Awareness: Stay updated on platform changes and vendor updates.
Core Competencies & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Salesforce Admin and CPQ Specialist certifications (preferred).
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience (administration, configuration, optimization).
- Strong knowledge of CPQ features: product configuration, pricing, discounting, quote generation.
- Deep understanding of Sales, Quoting, Product, Renewal, and Contracting processes; Billing knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Apex and Lightning Components (preferred).
- Business analysis and requirements documentation experience.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and team collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex CPQ issues.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
