Salesforce Technical Architect

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect with strong Veeva CRM and Life Sciences domain expertise to lead the design and delivery of scalable, compliant, and high‐performance solutions. This role will define architecture strategy, govern implementations, and work closely with business stakeholders across Commercial, Medical, and Compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end‐to‐end Salesforce architecture aligned with enterprise strategy
- Lead solution design for Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault integrations, and Life Sciences use cases
- Provide technical leadership across multiple projects and delivery teams
- Own architecture governance, design authority, and best practices
- Ensure solutions meet GxP, GDPR, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Design integration architecture (MuleSoft, APIs, middleware, data platforms)
- Oversee data model, security model, and environment strategy
- Guide DevOps, CI/CD, and release management processes
- Conduct code reviews and ensure quality standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Mentor developers, admins, and solution architects
Required Experience & Skills
Technical
- 10+ years Salesforce experience, including architect‐level roles
- Deep expertise in:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
- Veeva CRM (Essential)
- Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL)
- Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow
- Data architecture and large‐scale implementations
- Experience with Veeva Vault and Life Sciences ecosystem
- Knowledge of identity, SSO, OAuth, and security best practices
Domain (Life Sciences)
- Proven experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Devices
- Understanding of:
- Commercial operations (Sales, KAM, MSL workflows)
- Compliance and regulatory processes
- Consent management and data privacy
Architecture & Leadership
- Experience defining target architecture and roadmaps
- Strong stakeholder management at executive level
- Ability to lead global distributed teams
- Vendor and partner management experience
Certifications (Preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or CTA track
- Salesforce Application & System Architect certifications
- Veeva CRM certification (preferred)
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework (desirable)
