Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Hybrid - Occasional travel to Northolt required for customer meetings and 2-day PI Planning sessions
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Rate: Up to £500 per day via an approved umbrella company
Overview
Our client is delivering a cutting-edge System of Systems Factory on a cloud platform to create, manage, and distribute aeronautical information. We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with to support Agile delivery across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with SAFe practices and fostering continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including team syncs, retrospectives, and iteration demos
- Support iteration execution and ensure cadence-based coordination across teams
- Prepare and facilitate PI Planning, including draft PI plans, objectives, and risk identification
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlogs and manage dependencies
- Establish and maintain team work boards and performance tracking metrics
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members in Agile best practices
- Promote collaboration and transparency in a highly visible, customer-facing role
- Engage with security, safety, and compliance activities, integrating requirements into design evolution
- Support estimation and change control processes as needed
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Team Coach
- Strong facilitation and team leadership skills
- Expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing dependencies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable in customer-facing environments with high visibility
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices (training can be provided)
- Ability to promote Agile best practices and drive continuous improvement
