Senior Satellite Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Satellite Systems Engineer to lead and deliver innovative projects involving satellite and terrestrial communication networks, 5G, 6G  technologies. You will provide technical leadership, develop end-to-end communication solutions and work closely with businesses, universities, research organisations and external project partners.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery of telecoms and satellite communication projects.

Design and implement end-to-end cellular and satellite communication systems.

Develop practical communication solutions for end users.

Lead collaborative projects involving external stakeholders and infrastructure deployments.

Carry out hands-on system integration, hardware setup and coding.

Provide technical consultancy and solve complex engineering challenges.

Work on emerging 5G and 6G, satellite, IoT and future network technologies.

Key Skills

A PhD or MSc in Satellite Communications, Telecommunications Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Six years of experience in satellite communications or a similar field.

Expert knowledge of cellular networks or satellite communications.

Strong understanding of end-to-end satellite communication architecture and implementation.

Experience leading technical projects with external stakeholders.

Proven experience developing solutions for end users.

Hands-on experience with system integration, hardware and coding.
