QA Manual Tester
Expleo is currently seeking an experienced QA Manual Tester to join our team on a contract basis in Solihull. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned QA professional to take ownership of testing activities across multiple software platforms, driving quality across the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies across a range of applications
- Convert manual test cases into automation-ready test scenarios
- Collaborate closely with Software Development teams and Product Owners to analyse requirements and define effective test coverage
- Manage and track test execution, defects, and issue resolution, ensuring timely escalation and corrective action
- Conduct functional, regression, UI, and unit testing, including cross-browser and mobile testing
- Support end-to-end quality assurance across all development phases (Functional, Integration, Regression, E2E)
- Identify system defects and work with developers and DBAs to resolve issues effectively
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior QA engineers and offshore teams
- Facilitate problem-solving and promote best practices across QA and development functions
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior QA Manual Tester / Manual Test Engineer
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and lifecycle
- Experience working in complex, multi-platform environments
- Ability to manage multiple testing activities independently with minimal supervision
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Experience in defect tracking tools and test management tools
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and transitioning manual testing into automation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
