The Role

We are seeking a senior, commercially driven Commercial Director to take full ownership of sales, marketing and partnerships within a fast growing, mission led health technology SaaS business. This executive level role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, strengthening market position and building scalable go to market capability across the UK.

Reporting into the executive team, the Commercial Director will define and deliver the commercial strategy, lead high performing teams and ensure strong alignment between sales execution, marketing activity and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy and Leadership

  • Define and execute the overall commercial strategy across sales, marketing and partnerships
  • Own revenue growth, forecasting, pipeline management and commercial performance reporting
  • Translate business objectives into clear go to market plans and measurable outcomes
  • Act as a senior voice within the leadership team, shaping long term growth strategy

Sales Leadership and Revenue Delivery

  • Lead, develop and scale the sales function, covering new business, account expansion and renewals
  • Own the full sales lifecycle, from lead qualification through to negotiation and contract close
  • Set clear targets, incentives and performance metrics, ensuring consistent delivery against revenue goals
  • Drive enterprise level and multi site deal activity with senior stakeholders and decision makers

Marketing and Go to Market

  • Own the commercial input into marketing strategy, positioning and messaging
  • Work closely with marketing to drive demand generation, pipeline growth and brand visibility
  • Ensure clear articulation of value propositions to healthcare and social care customers
  • Use market insight, data and feedback to continuously refine go to market approach

Partnerships and Strategic Alliances

  • Identify, develop and manage strategic partnerships that accelerate growth and market access
  • Build relationships with technology partners, system integrators and sector influencers
  • Structure and oversee partnership commercial models, joint propositions and performance outcomes

Customer Value and Retention

  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure strong onboarding, retention and long term customer value
  • Ensure commercial success is aligned with customer outcomes, satisfaction and advocacy
  • Feed customer insight into sales strategy, partnerships and product direction

About You

  • Proven senior commercial leader with deep experience across sales, marketing and partnerships
  • Strong background in B2B SaaS, ideally within healthcare, care technology or regulated sectors
  • Track record of scaling commercial teams and delivering sustained revenue growth
  • Confident influencing at executive, board and enterprise customer level
  • Highly data driven, commercially astute and comfortable balancing strategy with execution
  • Experienced managing complex sales cycles and multi stakeholder buying processes
