Full Stack Engineer

Full-Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails + AI) | London (Hybrid)

I'm recruiting for a product-driven engineering team quietly building something they're proud of, and they're looking for a full-stack engineer who thinks deeply, communicates clearly, and stays ahead of the curve on AI.

The role

You'll work across the stack, collaborating directly with non-technical colleagues across the business. That means your communication skills matter just as much as your code. They're not looking for someone who disappears into a terminal, they want an engineer who can articulate decisions, trade-offs, and progress to anyone in the room.

What will make you stand out

The thing they're most interested in right now is hands-on experience applying AI agent workflows to real engineering problems, not just using AI tools, but encoding agentic logic to meaningfully improve how software gets built or operated. Concrete examples beat buzzwords every time.

Beyond that:

• You're a confident full-stack engineer, frontend to backend, you're comfortable owning both
• You've worked in a Ruby on Rails environment (doesn't have to be your main stack, but you've been there)
• You have a strong engineering mindset: you care about quality, scalability, and doing things properly
• You communicate well with non-technical stakeholders, this isn't optional here

The setup

• Hybrid: two days a week in their London office , the rest remote
• A collaborative, low-ego team where engineers have real influence
• They're not hiring in a panic, but will move quickly for the right person
