Technical Account Manager (SaaS Pre-Sales & Growth)

We are seeking a strategic Technical Account Manager to serve as the primary technical partner for our premier institutional clients. This role sits at the critical intersection of technical delivery and commercial growth. You will act as a hands-on advisor, ensuring our clients realize maximum value while identifying opportunities to expand our technical footprint within their organisations.

The ideal candidate brings a unique balance: you possess the technical depth to navigate complex SaaS architectures and APIs, but you also have the commercial mindset typical of a Pre-sales Engineer. You will not just maintain relationships; you will actively shape product strategy and drive technical enablement that supports long term retention and account expansion.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Technical Partnership: Act as the primary technical point of contact, developing strategic account plans and technical KPIs that align client goals with our business priorities.
  • Pre-Sales & Growth Alignment: Partner closely with Sales and Product teams to identify expansion opportunities and translate complex business needs into clear, product ready requirements.
  • Platform Advocacy: Lead recurring business reviews to monitor usage and share technical best practices that maximize platform adoption and engagement.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Serve as the bridge between the client and our internal Engineering and Product teams, triaging complex queries and evaluating product enhancement requests.
  • Hands-on Configuration: Leverage your technical skillset to optimize platform administration and configuration, ensuring the solution is tailored to specific client ecosystems.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role within a SaaS environment. Experience in legal tech or high-stakes enterprise software is a significant plus.
  • Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and data integrations. You should be comfortable discussing SaaS architecture and system dependencies.
  • Commercial Mindset: A proven ability to understand how technical solutions drive commercial outcomes, specifically in expansion and upsell contexts.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and draft high quality technical documentation.
  • Operational Proficiency: Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Power BI to track customer health and manage workstreams.
