System Administrator - Hybrid

We’re working with a growing, technology-driven organisation looking to hire a System Administrator with strong DevOps and infrastructure experience. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining, optimising, and scaling critical systems.

You’ll collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security across the environment.

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure (Linux/Windows environments)
• Support and optimise cloud platforms, particularly AWS
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and command-line tools
• Support deployments and environment configuration

• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.)
• Solid DevOps understanding (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code)
• Strong command-line skills (Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting)
• Experience with server management (patching, monitoring, performance tuning)
• Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing)
• Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar (desirable)
