Electronic LabView Test Development Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test software using LabVIEW for Hardware in the Loop (HIL) systems and ECU testing platforms
• Architect scalable and modular test frameworks, focusing on software reusability and long-term maintainability
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with bespoke test electronics and control systems
• Develop reliable communication interfaces with automotive ECUs using protocols such as CAN and LIN
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system-level issues across both new developments and legacy codebases
• Support continuous improvement by refining existing software tools and implementing best practices in test automation and system control
• Document software designs, workflows, and procedures to support internal teams and future projects

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in LabVIEW software development, including user interface design, modular programming, and real-time control applications
• Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN
• Previous experience working on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems or automotive ECU testing is highly desirable
• Confident collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust and integrated test solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, version control systems, and software development best practices
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
