F5 are delighted to be partnering with a IT & Cyber Security SME that has strong ties to the Defence Sector.

Due to increased growth, our client is seeking a talented Cyber Security Manager to manage and maintain their IT Operations whilst ensuring compliance to Government Cyber Security standards.

You will be responsible for Policy Development, Risk Management, Incident Response, Leadership and Mentorship, and Compliance/Auditing.

This role is based in their office in Cheltenham, 5 days a week.

Experience in the following is required:

• 5+ years in cybersecurity-focused IT management, including policy creation, incident resolution, and risk management..
• Hold active relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, ISO27001 etc.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, with experience in apprenticeship programs.
• Skilled in delivering cybersecurity projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Cyber Security Policies and Frameworks, including NIST, Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, SOC2 etc.
