DevSecOps Engineer - Senior Manager

• Location: Bristol – three days per week on site, two days from home
• Salary: £110,000 - £130,000 plus 8-10% bonus

I’m supporting a global IT consultancy who are recruiting a DevSecOps Engineer to work with a UK Defence client.

This is a Senior Manager-level technical leadership position to lead a existing team and improve how security is embedded throughout software delivery. You won’t be coding day to day, but you’ll oversee and review the team’s code and step in technically when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and improving DevSecOps practices
• Designing and implementing secure CI/CD pipelines
• Establishing security controls across the development lifecycle
• Leading and mentoring DevOps and engineering teams
• Reviewing code, automation and IaC
• Improving platform reliability, observability and release processes
• Supporting governance, vulnerability management and compliance

I’m interested in speaking with people who have experience across:

• DevOps, platform engineering or software engineering
• AWS or Azure
• Kubernetes and containerised environments
• Terraform and IaC
• CI/CD and GitOps
• Security scanning, vulnerability management and secrets management
• Technical leadership and engineering management

Security Clearance and Sole UK Nationality is required due to the nature of the work.
