Hybrid (Bristol / client site 3-4 days per month)
We're hiring a Senior Azure Integration Engineer for a growing UK consultancy delivering secure, cloud-native integration solutions into complex, high-impact environments.
This is a hands-on engineering role, not a generic software position. You'll be designing and building Azure-based integration platforms using modern, event-driven patterns. You will be working closely with architects, DevOps teams and client stakeholders.
Location & travel
UK-based, flexible working
3–4 days per month on client sites (London and/or Ipswich)
Occasional Bristol office time
What you'll do
- Design and deliver Azure-native integration solutions
- Build event-driven and message-based architectures using Azure Service Bus and Event Grid
- Develop APIs, workflows and serverless components with Azure Functions, Logic Apps and API Management
- Ensure integrations are secure, resilient, observable and well-governed
- Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed cloud environments
- Work directly with clients in a delivery-focused consultancy setting
- Contribute to technical standards, patterns and proposals
What you'll bring
- Strong experience in Azure integration engineering
- Hands-on delivery with Service Bus, Event Grid and enterprise messaging patterns
- Background delivering enterprise-scale integrations (ERP, CRM, WMS, etc.)
- Solid understanding of API lifecycle management
- Comfortable working in client-facing / consulting environments
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Nice to have
- AKS or containerised integration components
- Power Platform integrations
- Test automation / service virtualisation
- Experience in regulated or complex environments
Security clearance
SC eligibility is required (UK residency and right to work)
Package
£70,000 – £75,000 base salary
