Job Title: Senior Azure Platform Engineer

Location: UK Wide/Remote, very occasional client travel

Role: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £65,000-£80,000

Clearance: SC Eligible

F5 are delighted to be partnering with one of the biggest Technology Consultancies in the UK, an award-winning business that works with major organisations across the country.

They are seeking multiple Platform Engineers with a strong background in Azure Cloud to support their range of customers, working on some of the biggest Microsoft projects in the world.

You will deliver enterprise-scale projects across diverse industries, leading secure and scalable implementations within the Microsoft technology stack.

You can be based anywhere in the UK, with the role being predominantly remote with occasional Client travel as and when required.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts) and source control systems like GitHub.
  • Proficient in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Go, Ruby etc.).
  • Skilled in Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and/or Terraform.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Deep understanding of cloud models (PaaS, Serverless, IaaS) and DevSecOps principles.
  • Familiar with AI-enhanced DevOps practices and integration of AI tools into workflows.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-grade security, privacy, and governance standards.
  • Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience implementing GitOps workflows for infrastructure and application delivery.
  • Awareness of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  • Hold multiple active relevant certifications.
