Job Description

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join their dynamic team. This permanent role is based on a hybrid working pattern with 2 days per week in Bournemouth, London, or Stockport.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and enhance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Platform Events, and APIs to support seamless customer and adviser journeysDeliver high-quality software through the full development lifecycle, including design, build, testing, deployment, release and ongoing supportLead the technical design of scalable and secure Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, Data 360, and AgentforceInvestigate and resolve complex production issues, providing root cause analysis and implementing long-term improvementsCollaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutionsDrive engineering best practices, ensuring solutions meet quality, security, governance, and compliance standardsContribute to architectural discussions and technology decisions, helping shape the future direction of the Salesforce platformSupport and improve DevOps processes, including source-driven development, automated deployments and CI/CD practicesMentor and coach Software Engineers, sharing technical expertise and promoting continuous learning across the engineering communityEvaluate new Salesforce capabilities, AI innovations, and platform enhancements, recommending opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomesJob Requirements: Strong hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and integrationsExpertise delivering solutions across Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, Data 360, and AgentforceA passion for creating high-quality, scalable, and customer-focused software solutionsExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challengesStrong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, governance, and best practice design principlesExperience working within Agile engineering teams and modern DevOps environmentsKnowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as SFDX, Git, and automated deployment pipelinesConfidence engaging with stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutionsA collaborative approach, with a willingness to mentor and support other engineersCuriosity about emerging technologies, including AI, and a desire to continuously learn and innovateBenefits: Bonus schemes that reward you for your performanceA pension scheme of up to 12%, matching contributions up to 6% of your salaryAccess to award-winning health insurance with its unique set of rewards and benefitsLife assurance, offering four times your annual salaryIf you are a proficient Salesforce Developer looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact within an innovative technology environment, we would love to hear from you.
