The Role:
FDJ United is on an exciting journey. As one of Europe's leading betting and gaming groups, we're growing fast — and our People Systems need to grow with us. We're looking for an experienced People Systems Analyst with deep Workday expertise to join our team at a pivotal moment, as we navigate a Workday tenant merge and drive the next phase of our HCM roadmap. This isn't a maintenance role. You'll be a key player in shaping how Workday works across our business — configuring, improving, and scaling our environment to support thousands of employees across multiple markets.
You'll partner closely with our Head of HRIS, the broader People team, and a distributed stakeholder group to deliver meaningful change.
If you're someone who loves solving problems, challenges the status quo, and gets satisfaction from making systems work better for real people — this is the role for you.
What you will do:
- Own the configuration and administration of Workday HCM — designing and building business processes, advising the People team, managers, and employees on best use of the system.
- Support the post go-live optimisation of the Workday tenant merge, improving data integrity and process alignment across the combined environment.
- Drive automation and process improvement, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and increase the efficiency of People Systems and workflows.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, analyse needs, and deliver practical, well-designed Workday solutions.
- Manage the prioritisation and resolution of Workday fixes, enhancements, and day-to-day support queries in collaboration with the rest of the People Systems team.
- Support bi-annual Workday releases — including impact assessment, sandbox testing, implementation, training, and communication to the business.
- Champion system governance and security, maintaining appropriate Workday security configuration and ensuring data integrity across the platform.
- Contribute to reporting capability, building and maintaining Workday reports to support People team insight and decision-making.
- Support project delivery across Workday modules — from scoping and development through to testing, training, and go-live.
- Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
- Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
- Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
- Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.
How you will be measured:
- Successful delivery of key milestones on the Workday roadmap, including the tenant merge optimisation.
- Quality and timeliness of configuration changes, fixes, and project deliverables.
- Reduction in manual processes through automation and system improvements
- Stakeholder satisfaction — measured through feedback from the People team and business partners.
- Compliance with Workday release management processes, including timely testing and sign-off.
- Acting in line with FDJ UNITED values.
- Successful completion of all relevant training and other compliance activities that support FDJ's sustainable and responsible growth.
Your Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Workday experience in a post go-live environment
- Strong functional knowledge across Workday modules including HCM, Absence, Benefits, Talent, Learning, and Time Tracking
- Solid understanding of Workday business process configuration, security, and reporting
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into effective Workday solutions
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator — able to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A curious, improvement-focused mindset — you question the "as-is" and look for better ways of working
- Experience supporting or delivering a Workday tenant merge or implementation
- Familiarity with EIBs, calculated fields, or Workday integrations at a functional level
- Understanding of HR processes and how they translate into system design
- Experience supporting Workday bi-annual releases, including sandbox testing and impact assessment
