Business Analyst - Hounslow
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Business & Process Analyst to work for our client within the Aviation, Catering & Retail sector. This is initially a 6-12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a Hybrid role that will be based in London.
Our client is seeking an experienced Business & Process Analyst to support the delivery of two strategic transformation programmes. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technology partners to analyse and improve business processes, gather and document requirements, support testing activities, and drive the successful adoption of business solutions across multiple workstreams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders to capture and define business requirements.
- Document, manage and maintain functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Develop current-state and future-state business process maps, user journeys and customer experience flows.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for business, process and system improvements.
- Support solution design activities, ensuring business requirements are fully understood and incorporated into solutions.
- Collaborate with operational and technical teams to validate requirements and proposed solutions.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management activities.
- Assist with business readiness, training, deployment and post-go-live support activities.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Produce project documentation, reports and stakeholder presentations as required.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Process Analyst within business transformation and change programmes.
- Strong experience gathering, documenting and managing functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrable expertise in business process mapping, gap analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management activities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to facilitate workshops and engage effectively with business and technical teams.
- Experience working within Agile, Hybrid or digital transformation delivery environments.
- Knowledge of process automation technologies and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Power Platform and the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Business Transformation, Requirements Gathering and Process Improvement programmes.
