Front-end Developer

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Front-end Developer to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Our client is looking for a Front-end Developer who has experience with Angular 14+, JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and optimise performance, ensuring efficient running across devices and platforms
• Identify and resolve issues such as usability issues, across various browsers
• Collaborate with back-end developers and designers, implementing APIs to ensure smooth user experience
• Create clean and reusable code ensuring best practices and standards are met
• Keep updated with rising front-end technologies and tools

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Front-end Developer
• Eligible for Security Clearance
• Expertise in Angular 14+, TypeScript, RxJS, JavaScript and AstroUXDS
• Skilled in CSS Grid / flexbox, HTML5 / CSS3, Playwright and Cucumber
• Experienced in npm / nodeJS with general experience integrating open source npm packages to web-apps
• Experience in React, Vue, Svelte is beneficial
