We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in London to drive new business growth and expand our presence across the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities across key sectors including SaaS, FinTech, and Financial Services.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting and strategic outreach.
• Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation and deal closure.
• Manage complex, long sales cycles, requiring both commercial insight and technical understanding.
• Engage senior stakeholders (C-level, founders, finance and innovation leaders) to build long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with marketing to maximise inbound and outbound opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM reporting to ensure pipeline visibility and forecasting.
• Contribute to the UK commercial strategy and provide market insights.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a high-performing individual with:

• Strong experience in B2B business development within SaaS, FinTech, Financial Services, or professional services.
• Proven success managing end-to-end sales cycles, especially long and complex deals.
• A solid commercial track record with consistent revenue generation.
• A minimum of 4 years of sales/business development experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, autonomous, and resilient mindset.
• Experience in R&D Tax Credits or innovation funding is considered a plus.
