Our client is a recognised leader within Asset Integrity Management software, supporting global organisations across industries including Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Energy and Manufacturing. Their SaaS platform helps engineering teams improve safety, reliability and operational performance across critical assets.

As the business continues to grow internationally, they are looking to appoint a Senior Solution Engineer who can combine technical credibility, commercial awareness and consultative problem-solving to help customers understand how technology can transform their operations.

The Opportunity

Working alongside Enterprise Account Executives, Product Management, Engineering and Customer Success teams, you will play a pivotal role throughout the customer lifecycle.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, understand complex business and technical requirements, demonstrate solution value, design proof-of-value initiatives and help shape both customer outcomes and future product direction.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, business consulting and enterprise sales.

You’ll be responsible for helping prospective and existing customers understand not only what the platform does, but how it can solve real-world operational challenges and deliver measurable business value.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partnering with Enterprise Account Executives throughout complex sales cycles
  • Leading discovery sessions with customers to understand technical requirements, operational challenges and strategic objectives
  • Designing and delivering compelling solution demonstrations tailored to customer use cases
  • Translating customer requirements into practical platform solutions
  • Defining and managing proof-of-value initiatives that clearly demonstrate business impact
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers throughout evaluation and adoption processes
  • Supporting existing customers with new use cases, expansion opportunities and value realisation initiatives
  • Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to influence future product development
  • Creating reusable demonstrations, best practices and solution assets that can be leveraged across the wider business
  • Identifying emerging industry trends and helping shape go-to-market strategies around new opportunities

What We’re Looking For

We’d like to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:

  • 7+ years’ experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales Consulting, Technical Consulting or a similar customer-facing role within Enterprise SaaS
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise software sales cycles
  • Strong workshop facilitation and discovery skills
  • Experience designing and delivering proof-of-value or proof-of-concept engagements
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A consultative approach to solving complex business and operational challenges
  • Strong commercial awareness combined with technical credibility

Experience within any of the following areas would be particularly valuable:

  • Asset Integrity Management (AIM)
  • Asset Performance Management (APM)
  • Reliability Engineering
  • Inspection Management
  • Risk-Based Inspection (RBI)
  • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
  • Industrial SaaS
  • Operational Technology (OT)
  • Asset-intensive industries including Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Energy, Utilities or Manufacturing
