The Role
We’re hiring a Sales Manager – New Business to accelerate growth in UK & Ireland . This is a full-time, remote role focused on building pipeline, opening doors, and winning net-new customers—especially in telecom and adjacent critical infrastructure sectors.
You will own the front end of the sales cycle and drive opportunities through qualification, value-based selling, and closing—working closely with pre-sales, delivery, product, and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute a new business sales plan for UK & Ireland with clear pipeline and revenue targets
- Identify, qualify, and develop net-new opportunities with telecom operators, infrastructure owners, system integrators, and enterprise accounts
- Run discovery to understand customer outcomes (inventory accuracy, CMDB migration, service modelling, automation, OPEX reduction) and position FNT accordingly
- Drive full sales cycle execution: prospecting, meetings, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and closing
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders (C-level, Operations, Network, IT, Architecture, Transformation)
- Collaborate with pre-sales and consultants to shape winning solutions, commercial models, and implementation approaches
- Leverage partners and SI ecosystem to generate and progress opportunities
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Provide market feedback to sharpen messaging and help prioritise GTM initiatives
What You Bring
- Proven success in new business / hunter sales within B2B enterprise software
- Strong understanding of one or more of: telecom networks , OSS/Inventory/CMDB , network transformation , data center/IT infrastructure
- Confident in consultative, value-based selling and navigating complex buying groups
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Track record of building pipeline from scratch and converting into closed revenue
- Experience working with partners and/or system integrators is a strong plus
- Comfortable working remotely, self-driven, and highly organised
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience); relevant certifications are a plus
- Professional fluency in English ; additional languages are welcome
- Willingness to travel across UK & Ireland as needed
