As an Apprentice IT Technician, you will embark on a journey where you will merge your passion for the motor industry with your desire to develop expertise in information technology. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within the motor industry, supporting our operations across multiple locations in the South West UK.

Role

Our new apprentice will have opportunities to learn lots of new skills that ensure the business keeps running at optimum pace including:

  • System upgrades
  • Desktop support
  • Hardware, software systems
  • Networking requirements

You will gain exposure to a variety IT environments that will help to solidify your knowledge across the term of your apprenticeship. To support with all this learning, you will work closely with our IT team to gain lots of on the job experience, as well as time to do research and exploration, ensuring you achieve the best possible outcomes for your apprenticeship.

Training

By completing your Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 3 qualification, equivalent to A Level. 

Your training will be carried out on site in your workplace, where we will provide you with time and space to complete your apprenticeship work during your working week. 

The training will be one day per week. 

Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

Once the apprenticeship is complete, there may be opportunites for you to join our IT team as an IT technician and have the opportunity to put all that you have learned during the course of your apprenticeship in to practice.
