Administrator Apprentice

To provide all aspects of administrative support that will meet the needs and requirements of all Foresight service delivery and support staff associated with service delivery.

Role

Main Responsibilities

  • To arrange meetings and take minutes for all working groups
  • To provide additional support to the Facilities Manager

Additional Responsibilities

  • To update filing systems and filing
  • To undertake basic computer maintenance
  • To maintain the beneficiary database
  • To prepare and answer correspondence
  • To assist with monitoring and evaluation of services
  • To collect, collate and prepare information and statistics for use
  • To receive and assist visitors and deal with telephone enquires
  • To prepare work in accordance with instructions, using computer facilities as appropriate
  • To perform such duties as reasonably correspond to general character of the post and to be commensurate with its level of responsibility
  • To work within the Foresight policies on confidentiality, health and safety, equal opportunities and racial equality at all times
  • To take an active part in events organised by Foresight
  • To prepare publicity material and be involved in publicity strategies
  • To undertake training necessary to carry out the post

Training

Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship standard:

Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
End-Point Assessment (EPA)
Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive any additional training support and guidance required from their dedicated tutor
Attending weekly classes to achieve the Standard
Level 3 Business Administration qualification

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity of full-time employment upon completion of the apprenticeship.
