Our client is a UK-based technology and innovation company that develops advanced software, cyber security, and digital solutions for complex and mission-critical environments. Working across research, product development, and consultancy, the company helps organisations solve challenging technical problems through innovative engineering, emerging technologies, and applied research.

The What?
You'll join a specialist engineering team delivering secure software solutions for defence and national security customers. Working on long-term, high-impact programmes, you'll be involved in designing, building, testing and deploying Android-based capabilities that support critical operational environments. The work is varied, technically challenging and focused on delivering multiple software releases across complex, security-conscious systems.
Experience required:
- Commercial experience deploying software to Kubernetes, OpenShift or Quadlet, building deployment configurations from scratch.
- Strong Python and Bash development skills with experience in iterative development, debugging and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing across Linux and Windows, with a focus on secure, air-gapped environments.
- Strong understanding of networking, security and authentication (SSO, MFA, mutual TLS, firewalling).
- Ability to design secure, compliant solutions from documented requirements through to verification.
- Experience producing technical documentation, leading design reviews and assessing high and low-level designs.
- Confident engaging with clients, stakeholders and third parties as a trusted technical representative.
- Innovative, delivery-focused mindset with a passion for solving complex technical challenges and delivering mission-critical solutions.
Onsite work:
Due to the nature of the work our client delivers it is essential that you will be working at either client site or in office 5 days a week - our client would also support your application from SC Clearance through to DV clearance.
