You will be part of the team replatforming the businesses core payments systems over the next 2 years which will be one of the most groundbreaking transformations for such critical systems.

The What..
Technology Leadership & Platform Delivery – Extensive experience shaping and leading complex digital ecosystems, including web and mobile products, cloud services, API-led platforms, and distributed architectures - ideally previous or exisiting hands on skills from a Front-End development perspective (React, Typescript, Javascript etc).
Team Development & Engineering Culture – Skilled in building capable engineering teams, coaching technical talent, improving ways of working, and creating clear growth paths for individuals.
Scaled Delivery & Planning – Confident delivering large programmes in structured Agile environments, coordinating cross-team dependencies, and supporting effective quarterly or increment planning.
Strategic Architecture – Able to guide technical direction, modernise platform design, and ensure solutions remain scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned to future business needs.
Additional Strengths
Customer-Led Digital Services – Experience improving digital journeys, including self-service capability, joined-up communications, and integration with rules, decisioning, or strategy platforms.
Operational Insight & Platform Health – Uses monitoring, metrics, and observability to strengthen reliability, improve performance, and enhance customer experience.
Stakeholder, Partner & Supplier Leadership – Comfortable influencing senior leaders, aligning technology with business priorities, and managing external delivery partners or service providers.
Hybrid Working..
The expectation will be 1-2 days a week in Cheshire & Manchester city centre
