Senior Account Manager Developer (Banking FS Sector Vertical) Basic Salary £150-£165K, Plus Bonus & Benefits
Our client is looking for a high‐velocity Hunter Account Manager to strongly expand their footprint within a major banking or financial services enterprise account.
This role demands a relentless focus on net‐new revenue, rapid opportunity creation, and maximising Total Contract Value (TCV) across priority business units. You will own the pursuit, drive the strategy, and close the deals that move the needle.
Key Duties:
- Relentlessly pursue new business and convert whitespace within a major banking/FS account into high‐value wins
- Build, accelerate, and close a high‐velocity pipeline with a sharp focus on TCV expansion
- Engage and influence senior decision‐makers across Retail, Commercial, and Corporate Banking environments
- Lead aggressive end‐to‐end sales motion, from targeted prospecting to competitive deal closure
- Partner with internal solution and delivery teams to position IT consulting, digital transformation, and cloud‐led services as must‐have capabilities
- Maintain disciplined forecasting, pipeline accuracy, and account intelligence
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven hunter profile with a track record of breaking into accounts and winning net‐new revenue
- Strong background in IT consulting / digital transformation sales within enterprise or financial services
- Demonstraed ability to close complex, multi‐stakeholder deals and consistently grow TCV
- Skilled at navigating large, matrixed organisations and influencing senior stakeholders
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and value‐positioning skills
- Fluent in English; French is an advantage for global collaboration
