IT Project Coordinator (Aberdeen)

Job Description

We are delighted to be working with a leading aviation services business who are looking to appoint an IT Project Coordinator to support their overall operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile IT function, where you will play a key role in bringing together IT, operational teams and third-party providers, helping to deliver projects, system enhancements and service improvements across the organisation. The role offers a great mix of IT service delivery, project coordination, technical support and stakeholder management, with plenty of opportunity to make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the delivery of IT projects, system enhancements and service improvements
• Work closely with IT teams, operational stakeholders and third-party providers to keep initiatives moving and aligned with business priorities.
• Support project planning and delivery, tracking milestones, dependencies, resources and key deliverables.
• Act as the link between business and IT, gathering requirements and ensuring they are clearly translated into practical technical solutions.
• Provide technical support across IT systems when required, assisting with deployments, troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain service continuity.
• Coordinate IT change activity, helping to assess impacts, plan implementations and keep stakeholders informed throughout.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, project plans, Statements of Work and service transition information.
• Track KPIs, project progress and service performance, using data and reporting to highlight issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate user onboarding and access requirements, ensuring teams are ready to operate effectively when new systems or services are introduced.
• Support training, user engagement and adoption activities to help embed new technology and improvements across the business.
• Keep knowledge articles, process guides and technical documentation up to date, supporting consistent service delivery and knowledge sharing.
• Assist with major incidents and service restoration activities, coordinating communication between the relevant teams during critical situations.
• Support resource planning across multiple initiatives, helping ensure projects and improvements are delivered effectively.
