Description of Role:
We are recruiting for a Web Application Integration Engineer for our client. You will join the Endpoint Security team of a leading financial services company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of a browser isolation solution, specifically focusing on Menlo Security products, with primary emphasis on web integration, browser behaviour, and application compatibility. This role requires strong web fundamentals, structured troubleshooting capability, and the ability to partner effectively with security and networking teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in IT, passionate about Cyber Security, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be a strong team player.
This is an integration/troubleshooting role focused on web application behaviour and browser-level diagnostics; it is not a role for building new websites or product UI.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Endpoint Security team to implement and support Menlo's browser isolation solution.
- Lead web integration and compatibility efforts (eg, authentication flows, cookies/sessions, headers, browser behaviour, and application-specific issues).
- Troubleshoot and resolve web application and browser-related issues affecting the browser isolation solution; work with network/security teams as needed to isolate root cause across client, Proxy/isolation, and upstream application layers.
- Work closely with security analysts to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for integration configurations, known-issue patterns, and operational processes.
Requirements & Skills
Desired Skills:
- Menlo Security Products: Experience with Menlo's browser isolation solution or similar products such as Island Enterprise Browser, Prisma Browser, Citrix Enterprise Browser, SURF Security Enterprise Browser, LayerX, Seraphic Security, Red Access or SquareX
- Network Configuration and Management: Familiarity with network fundamentals and concepts (eg, proxies, DNS, TCP/IP) and experience working with Firewalls, VLANs, VPNs.
- Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with Scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and troubleshooting.
- Cloud Networking: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their networking components.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
