Technical SEO & AI Innovation Lead (United Kingdom)

Job title: Technical SEO & AI Innovation Lead (Remote, UK-based)

Salary: Negotiable + Bonus

Location: Fully remote (must keep UK core hours, occasional meet-ups)

Employment type: Full-time, permanent.

Own and continually improve the technical performance and search visibility of our iGaming affiliate sites, while leading the rollout of AI-driven processes that make the whole business faster and smarter.

Technical SEO

• Crawl, audit and prioritise fixes across multiple WordPress properties.

• Monitor algorithm & SERP-feature changes; test and implement solutions for Google, Bing and LLM answer engines.

• Monitor and optimise Core Web Vitals, schema markup, internal linking and sitemaps; manage redirects and mitigate crawl-budget waste.

• Produce clear specifications for development requirements.

Project & vendor management

• Evaluating and prioritising technical requests in Asana and liaising with our outsourced tech firm via their project management tool, Basecamp.

• Ensuring developer output is tested thoroughly prior to and following deployment.

• Attend weekly meetings with leadership and our outsourced tech firm. Report on progress, ROI, and live-site health.

• Participate in strategic planning with leadership.

AI-driven efficiency

• Identify areas where AI automation could make a significant saving in time and energy.

• Train the team to use AI effectively, including producing help documentation.

• Plan for future AI integration opportunities.

Knowledge sharing & continuous improvement

• Host monthly “SEO & AI insights” sessions.

• Build SOPs and internal documentation so processes scale.

• 3+ years’ technical SEO (agency or in-house)

• Transferable Project Management skills

• Comfortable writing Python/JS snippets, using APIs, and wrangling data in spreadsheets/BigQuery.

• Proven remote-work discipline, excellent communication and record-keeping skills.

• iGaming or high-compliance background.

• Proactive, biased toward action—flags issues before they bite.

• Structured thinker who loves checklists and clear KPIs.

• Low-ego collaborator who gives and receives feedback maturely.
