Tax and Accountancy Apprenticeship
We are a tax and accountancy practice that gives forward looking pro-active advice to our clients. We use technology to help our clients and
to work efficiently. We are based in Bury St Edmunds and our office is on Moreton Hall. We are looking for an apprentice accountant and tax adviser, to be part of our small team, full training will be given.
Role
Main duties will include:
- Payroll processing and reporting
- Bookkeeping
- VAT returns
- Sole Trader accounts
- Personal tax returns
- Use of cloud based accounting software
- Limited company accounts
- Company tax returns
- CIS returns
- Answering telephone
- Photocopying and scanning
- Talking to clients
- Sending emails and letters
Training
- The learner will be studying the Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship standard qualification, additionally study for the AAT.
- Day release to West Suffolk College.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Once qualified the candidate can become a portfolio manager and client adviser. They can grow as the practice grows to a role that suits them.
