Senior Product Manager

Your Team's Impact The Data Products Platform is the heart of the internal data factory at FactSet, and this position is responsible for providing transparency to the data flowing through the Platform. In this highly visible, critical role, you will get to work with teams across the Data Solutions organization to help them answer the question, “Where’s my data?” which is a critical question to answer to service FactSet clients. What You'll Do
- Long Term Product Vision: Define a 2–3-year product vision for your product(s). Ensure that your stakeholders and all personas understand where the product is on its journey with annual “state of the product” updates after the vision has been refreshed each year
- Product Roadmap: Working via the Agile methodology, work with stakeholders and your product team to define the Product Backlog and Product Roadmap for the current quarter and next quarter. Coordinate with the team’s Scrum Master to ensure that all Agile ceremonies are achieving their goals
- Engineering Team: Drive the products’ engineering teams are deeply engaged in the details of the business aspects of the product to ensure their understanding of what they are building with the goal of improving product quality. Expose Engineering team members to stakeholders directly whenever possible
- Product Enablement: Ensure product success by driving product enablement to stakeholder groups. Work with your managers and stakeholder groups to prioritize the order of onboarding and the features that get developed in support of a given stakeholder(s) in support of their requirements to onboard
- Stakeholder Interaction: Before, during and after onboarding to your product(s) stay in touch with your stakeholders via a variety of methods including one on one conversations, office hours and (at a minimum) annual user surveys. Use those interactions to inform changes to the product roadmap and long term vision
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, finance, economics, or another relevant field
- 7+ years relevant professional experience
- Possesses a product mindset. Starts from problems, goals and needs and experiments to uncover the best solution
- Capable of inspiring a cross-functional team to deliver on the product strategy and vision. Ability to influence engineering, design, product marketing and other stakeholders. Ability to influence partner teams’ roadmaps to drive their agendas to align with common interests
- Demonstrated autonomy and impact in previous Product roles. Ability to say no to demands from stakeholders that do not align with the validated product strategy
