Systems Accountant
We are currently working with a well-established organisation based in Mid Kent with an excellent reputation. They seeking a talented and proactive Systems Accountant to support ongoing transformation and systems development projects.The RoleReporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will act as the bridge between Finance and IT, ensuring finance systems are effectively integrated, maintained, and optimised across the business. You will play a key role in system upgrades, automation projects, process improvements, and user training.Key Responsibilities
- Act as the finance systems lead for ongoing systems transformation projects.
- Manage and develop ERP/reporting systems to improve financial control, reporting, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, IT, operations) to identify and implement process efficiencies.
- Lead system integration projects following acquisitions or changes in structure.
- Support data migration, testing, and validation.
- Provide training and support to finance and operational users.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with strong systems experience.
- Proven experience in a similar Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Analyst, or Finance Transformation role.
- Background in business services is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage X3, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar).
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
