Fawkes & Reece are looking for a Junior CAD Technician / CAD Assistant!

We’re working with an established construction business that is looking to bring a Junior CAD Technician / CAD Assistant into their team.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for someone at the very start of their career — whether you’ve recently finished college/university or have some basic CAD experience and are looking for your first opportunity within construction.

You’ll be supporting the wider technical team with CAD drawings and technical documentation, while developing your skills and gaining valuable industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Producing and amending CAD drawings using AutoCAD
• Assisting with the preparation of technical drawings and layouts
• Updating drawings in line with design changes
• Maintaining and organising drawing files and technical documentation
• Supporting the technical team with drawing revisions and document control
• Assisting with measurements, dimensions and drawing information
• Liaising with the wider technical team to ensure drawings are accurate and up to date
• Learning and developing your knowledge of construction drawings and technical processes

Requirements

• Basic AutoCAD/CAD knowledge
• An interest in construction and/or design
• Good attention to detail
• Keen to learn and develop
• Recent college/university graduate or some basic CAD experience
