The Role — Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be central to generating new business opportunities. You’ll identify prospects, open conversations, and help convert leads into long-term clients. You’ll collaborate closely with senior sales leaders, technical pre-sales specialists, and a supportive marketing team. This is a proactive role that values initiative, ownership, and strong communication.

What You’ll Do as the Business Development Manager
  • Identify and engage potential customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, and networking
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Run discovery calls to understand client challenges and needs
  • Progress deals from first contact through proposal to close
  • Work with technical teams to create tailored solutions
  • Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, activities, and forecasting
  • Stay aware of market trends and competitor activity
  • Support marketing-led campaigns and events that build pipeline
