Junior Software Engineer

Location: Chester (hybrid / office-based)

Salary: Up to £30,000 + great benefits

We’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join a growing technology team based in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to develop their skills in a supportive, well-structured environment.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on real projects, helping to design, build, and improve business-critical applications while continuing to grow your technical and professional capability.

• Supporting the development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions
• Working collaboratively with engineers, analysts, and wider teams
• Learning best practices in software design, development, and delivery
• Contributing ideas and improvements as your confidence grows

• A degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject (or equivalent experience)
• A genuinely positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• An interest in building a long-term career in software engineering
