Senior Software Tester

Location: Fully Remote – UK

Salary: £50,000 + benefits

We’re hiring a Senior Software Tester to take ownership of quality across a growing Development environment. This Senior Software Tester role is fully remote and offers real influence over how testing is done, moving well beyond end-of-line QA.

As a Senior Software Tester, you’ll work closely with developers and delivery leads to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and ready for production. This is a hands-on role where the Senior Software Tester helps define testing standards, processes, and accountability across the team.

As a Senior Software Tester, you will:

• Carry out hands-on manual testing across Power Platform solutions
• Test Power Automate workflows, Dataverse data models, business rules, and security roles
• Identify defects early and clearly communicate root cause and impact
• Support and shape User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with internal teams and customers
• Define and maintain pragmatic, scalable test processes
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression test packs
• Establish clear quality gates and definitions of done
• Coach and challenge developers on quality and testing best practice
• Support release, deployment, and regression testing activities

Essential

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Tester or QA / Test Engineer in a software delivery environment
• Strong understanding of low-code, data-driven, and configuration-based applications
• Experience testing workflows, business logic, and integrations
• Confidence influencing developers and embedding quality-first ways of working
• Pragmatic mindset – balancing speed and quality without unnecessary process

Desirable

• Power Apps testing experience (Canvas and/or Model-Driven apps)
• Experience testing Dataverse-based solutions
• Exposure to ALM, environment management, and solution-based deployments
• Familiarity with test management tools
